On our journey through the Foothills last Sunday, we also stopped at Lundbreck Falls, where I captured this image of Crowsnest River.

Week 4 – My favourite image of the week is the only portrait shot of the week. I’m also chronically my Project 366 on my website, so if you’d like to see the entire gallery please visit my site at

Day 27 - Tulips

Week 3 was a little more challenging. Temperatures in the -30Cs most of the week made for some cold weather photography.

My favourite image from the week was an experiment that worked! It was a technique that I read about a while back in a photo magazine about taking photos while being a passenger. You use a slow shutter speed/small aperture and create a blur of a scene as you pass. We were on the way home from running errands and I decided that I’d give it a shot. It worked great on a day that had such flat light. ISO 100, 55mm, f/36, 1/6 sec

Day 15 - Winter Abstract

I had a lot of fun with week 2. Ending it by experimenting with my veri-ND filter at Elbow Falls was the highlight.
